A Single Man
Jan. 28th, 2010 10:07 pmIt's nice to be reminded that in spite of big-budget crapfests like Avatar and fascist porn like The Dark Night* there are deft, elegant, heartbreaking, and glorious films like A Single Man. Go see it.
* Does that sound like I'm betraying geekdom? I hope not. I like a morality play full of technoviolence as much as the next nerd, but those movies were too stupid to be moral and too full of themselves to be playful.
